The sixth iPod generation was published a few days ago. Now they have a new design, more memory and even an complete new iPod is out. Just the iPod shuffle is not new so I’ll start with the iPod Classic:
iPod nano
The new iPod nano is now smaller than before and it is now also possible to play videos with it (right picture). The memory starts with 4 gb and gets up to 8 gb of storage, you can have the 4 gb model for 149 $. Also the display got larger, and now you can use Cover Flow with it, that you already know from iTunes on your computer. The ipod Nano is available in blue, green, silver, red and black. Here you can watch the new Tv ad.
iPod Classic
Also improved was the iPod Classic (similar to the iPod nano on the right picture), or maybe better known as the iPod Video. It also has, like the iPod nano, Cover Flow, more memory (80 gb and 160 gb of storage), Enhanced Interface and a new, more beautiful (so do I think) and sleeker design. The new iPod Classic is available starting with 249 $ and 80 gb of storage and gets up to 349 $ and 160 gb of storage. You can select bewteen the colours black and silver in both price categories.
iPod Touch
A complete new iPod, the design reminds on the iPhone and it has the features of the new iPod Classic, and even more. You can serve the iPod Touch by using the Display (3.5 inch wide) with Touchscreen, just like it is with the iPhone. It is also possible to go browsing in the web with the Apple Browser Safari and to download music from the iTunes Store, and watch videos on Youtube. The prices for the new iPod Touch are 299 $ for the 8 gb model and 399 $ for the 16 gb model. It is available starting with the 28th September 2007.
