New MacBook in November 2007

No unfortuneately it is not a fact yet, but in spite of that I hope the headline is right :) .

Reasons for a Macbook?

  • Well, yesterday I read on some websites that Apple improves his products every six months, the last improvement was in May 2007, and if you add six months you will get the month November.
  • Another reason is that in the end of October the new operating system of Apple, “Leopard”, will be published. And if there will be a new system, there will maybe also be a new version of the MacBook series.
  • The third and last reason (yet) is that all Mac’s are now built out of Aluminium and Glass, because it’s recycable. The hole Macintosh series, without the MacBook.

The most important thing, especially for me is, that there’ll be a better graphics chip, with much more memory than the graphics chip has now (ridicolous 64 mb …). And maybe it should have a display that will not reflect everything behind you on the desktop than the actual display does.

Reasons against the MacBook?

Is there any? The only reason I would know is the price. I hope that Apple will make the MacBook a bit cheaper.

  • Hello…

I think that the new one will definitely be here by November 2007.

I think that it will be like the following (just my imagination…but it don’t hurt…):

    - Silver Glossy or Black Glossy (instead of dull rubbery black like current models and Glossy White to disappear in light of silver because of the discontinuation trends from the iPod and iMac so I’m afraid it will probably disappear from MacBook as well)
-LED Backlit glossy 13.3″ screens supporting resolutions up to 1440×900 instead of 1280×800
-Intel GMA X3100 Graphics w/ 965 Mobile chipset
    -2.0 and 2.2GHz Intel FSB800 Core 2 Duo Chips
    -Up to 4GB RAM supported
    -ExpressCard/34 slot???
    -Real DVI Port vs. MiniDVI
    -FW800 and 400 ports
    -4 USB 2.0 Ports
-85W MagSafe Adapter instead of 60W

    Any other predictions?
