I just found the cheapest MacPro I’ve ever seen *lol*. What happened? I configured a MacPro with every stuff you need. Here are the details of my configuration:

  • Two 3.0GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
  • 16GB (8 x 2GB RAM)
  • Mac Pro RAID Card
  • 750GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s
  • 750GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s
  • 750GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s
  • 750GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s
  • NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 512MB, Stereo 3D (2 x dual-link DVI) macpro2434.jpg
  • Apple Cinema HD Display (30″ flat panel)
  • Apple Cinema HD Display (30″ flat panel)
  • Two 16x SuperDrives
  • Both Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and AirPort Extreme
  • Quad-channel 4Gb Fibre Channel PCI Express card
  • Apple USB Modem
  • Apple Wireless Keyboard and Apple wireless Mighty Mouse – U.S. English
  • Mac OS X – U.S. English
  • Mac OS X Server (Unlimited-Client)
  • Logic Express preinstalled
  • 1-year basic membership
  • AppleCare Protection Plan for Mac Pro/Power Mac (w/or w/o Display) – Auto-enroll

What do you think how much does this fun cost? It’s very cheap ;) , I mean you could just buy ca. 19 MacBooks, or a car… This MacPro in that configuration costs $ 19,439.95 … I don’t know how I could save those 95 cts ^^.

Well, quality has its price. And a name. Apple.
